Aaron Rodgers got utterl

Aaron Rodgers got utterly embarrassed by David Bakhtiari during a beer chugging challenge at Bucks game.

It's usually a pretty bad idea, as a general rule of thumb, to go head-to-head with an offensive lineman in a beer chugging contest. If you're in front of thousands of people it's a really bad idea, and it's an ESPECIALLY bad idea when you are impressively terrible at chugging beer.
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers unfortunately found himself in that spot at Thursday's Bucks-Raptors Eastern Conference finals playoff game, and things did not end well for him. Whether he wanted to or not, Rodgers got pitted in a chugging contest with Packers teammate David Bakhtiari and ... well, go ahead and have a look at the result.
Yikes. Not a particularly great showing from the gunslinger.
There's two ways you can choose to look at this debacle. The first is that Rodgers comes off as soft, incapable of chugging a single beer and, maybe worst of all, refusing to show any heart and pride in the attempt. It's the kind of pathetic display that causes a guy to lose a locker room. How can you go to battle beside a guy like that?
The other way of looking at it, however, is that Rodgers intentionally folded in on himself and made himself look like a loser in order to pass the shine to Bakhtiari. If that's the case, it's a selfless veteran move by a quarterback to gas up one of the guys who's enlisted to protect him every weekend.
In any case, these offensive linemen don't often get the chance to seize the spotlight, and Bakhtiari took full advantage. Just a thoroughly dominant performance.
Elsewhere, it appears that Matt Stafford wasn't impressed by Rodgers' showing and he decided to add a little salt to the wound.

Mount Everest

Mount Everest has gotten so crowded that climbers are perishing in the traffic jams

Anjali Kulkarni, an Indian mountain climber, trained for six years to make it to the top of Mount Everest, the highest mountain peak in the world. She finally fulfilled her longtime goal when she reached the summit this week. But it was the descent that killed her.
Her son, Shantanu Kulkarni, told CNN that she died after getting stuck in a “traffic jam” on the mountain.
“She had to wait for a long time to reach the summit and descend,” Thupden Sherpa, who organized tours on the mountain, told Agence France-Presse. “She couldn’t move down on her own and died as Sherpa guides brought her down.”
Crowded slopes of Mount Everest leads to more danger for climbers
Two other Indian hikers, Kalpana Das, 52, and Nihal Bagwan, 27, also died this week. Keshav Paudel, who organized tours on the mountain, told AFP that Bagwan was “stuck in the traffic for more than 12 hours and was exhausted.”
“Our guides tried to help but he died soon after,” the company Fisher traveled with told the BBC.
A number of other people have died elsewhere in Nepal’s Himalayan mountains this season. Nepal has issued around 380 permits for those hoping to climb the mountain, AFP reported. They cost about $11,000 each, and hikers are accompanied by local, and sometimes international, guides.
A chilling photograph from Everest shows a long line of mountaineers queuing to ascend a steep ridge to the summit. The photo was shot by Nirmal Purja, an avid mountaineer, who wrote in an Instagram caption that he estimated there were 320 people waiting in line.
Traffic jams create dangerous situations for climbers, who are often already exhausted and carrying heavy loads while battling altitude sickness, which can make people dizzy and nauseated.
Gordon Janow, director of programs at Alpine Ascents International, has been organizing treks to Everest for about 30 years. He said overcrowding often occurs, but “every year seems to be worse and worse.”
When a line starts to back up, “you’re changing your natural pace so you’re spending more time in this high altitude zone than might be necessary if you were climbing 10 to 15 years ago,” he said. Alpine Ascents currently has a group of a dozen climbers on the mountain, he said, and one of the most important skills for the guides who accompany them “is knowing when to turn people around."
“The idea isn’t to push yourself to the ultimate maximum to reach the summit,” he said. “Then there’s no steam or energy left in your body to get down.”

Everest attracts climbers from around the globe, and the victims come from diverse backgrounds:

The banter between Adam Levine and Blake Shelton is coming to an end on The Voice.
On Friday's Today show, Voice host Carson Daly announced that Levine would be exiting NBC's singing competition show after 16 seasons. "Adam is one of the original coaches that launched the show, winning the competition three times and inspiring many of the artists that he worked so closely with," Daly told morning show viewers. "Many viewers will miss his frenemy relationship with Blake Shelton. He will always be a cherished member of the Voice family and of course we wish him nothing but the best."
As for who will be replacing the Maroon 5 frontman, Daly revealed that Shelton's girlfriend, Gwen Stefani, will be returning to the show. "I am happy to share that Gwen Stefani will be returning for season 17," he announced. "She met her current boyfriend, Blake Shelton, through the show. Excited to have her back."
Levine won the first season of The Voice in 2011 with Javier Colon, and again in 2013 with Tessanne Chin as well as in 2015 with Jordan Smith.
Stefani was a coach on season 9 and 12 of the show but has yet to win.
News of Levine's exit comes days after the season 16 finale of The Voice, where John Legend's contestant, Maelyn Jarmon, won. This week, Levine appeared sentimental on Twitter, sharing a photo of him, Shelton and Daly on The Voice set.
"A rare moment of tenderness. ❤️," he wrote.
Earlier this month, the 40-year-old singer opened up to ET about how much longer he planned to do The Voice. Here's what he had to say:
